Eligibility Questionnaire

Dear Prospective Partner Families,

Thank you for your interest in the Habitat for Humanity GTA Homeownership Program! This questionnaire checks your family's basic eligibility for our Homeownership Program.

Most recent Canada Child Benefit (CCB) Statement
All your active Credit Card and Line of Credit statements

If you meet our criteria and we have an appropriate unit available for your family composition, you will be sent an Informational Video to learn more about the Habitat GTA Homeownership Program. After you have watched the video, should you decide to apply, you will be asked to complete a full application form.

It is very important that you take the time to answer all questions correctly and honestly. Any dishonesty or misinformation will lead to removal from the application process and you will not be allowed to reapply for one full year.

We are not currently accepting applications for the Normandy projects as there are very few units still available. Please refer to webpage https://habitatgta.ca/builds/485-normandy-street/ for any updates to the status of this project.

Exclusively made available for Alex Park Co-op, Atkinson Co-op, and TCHC Ward 10 residents.

Special Considerations for Crosstown

Applicants must be parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of at least one child 16 years of age and under
Households with 2 to 5 members are welcome to apply
Most units DO NOT have parking
Total Household Employment Incomes considered:
- Two Bedroom units: $75K to $87K
- Three Bedroom units: $80K to $104K

*Please note that due to funding restrictions, only families within these income ranges can be considered.

Please note, if you have no children 16 years and under, you will not be eligible for our traditional program. However, you may be eligible for our HomeStart program. Please exit this form and select to apply for the HomeStart program instead.

*Important Notice:

This information will be verified at a later stage in the application process. Please ensure that you use the correct amounts found on your CRA issued Canada Child Benefit (CCB) Statement.

When filling in your total debt, please add the debt amounts for all active credit cards and lines of credit that you have.

Any statements or information deemed to be false or misleading will lead to immediate removal from the application process and you will not be able to re-apply for 1 year.
